Abraham Baah Kwame Oyortey, 25, who is on a provisional charge of murder for allegedly murdering Ms. Rosemond Nyampong, was on Monday remanded into prison custody by a Tema Magistrate Court.
He is to re-appear on January 13th, 2014.
On November 21 Rosmond, a worker at the Credit Department of Stanbic Bank, was found dead in the kitchen of her rented apartment at Baatsona in Accra where she lived alone.
The police later discovered the deceased�s Toyota Yaris saloon car at a car washing bay in Odumasi Krobo in the lower Manya District of the Eastern Region.
Abraham was arrested by the police when he arrived at the bay to drive the car away. He had removed the vehicle�s number plates and stickers.
