Ministry Of Energy Projects Additional 342 Megawatts Of Electricity To National Grid Next Year

The Ministry of Energy and Petroleum has spelt out its vision for the achievement of universal access to uninterrupted power supply. In line with this, about 342 Megawatts electricity would be added to the national grid next year. This will be realised with the completion of the Kpone Thermal Project, 12 Megawatts of solar power and other projects the Ministry is expected to embark on. The sector Minister, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, stated this at a Press Soiree with Editors and Senior Journalists in Accra. He took stock of the Ministry's performance this year and commended the Media for its support.
