Ghana Picks 27-man Squad For Tour Ahead of CHAN

A 27-man squad has been selected for a pre-tournament camp in Namibia as Ghana prepare for next year's African Nations Championship - CHAN. The selected players are to report to the M-Plaza Hotel in Accra at 2:00pm on Thursday, December 26. Coach Maxwell Konadu will leave with his selected players for Windhoek, the Namibian capital on Friday to continue with preparations before pruning the squad to 23 for the tournament reserved for only home-based players of member nations. Ghana are paired in Group C with Libya, Ethiopia and Congo for the 2014 African Nations Championship in South Africa. The 16-nation tournament will kick-off on 11 January and finish on 1 February 2014.
