Wa All Stars Name Cobblah As Coach

The team that has been struggling in the Ghanaian top flight has given its coaching mantle to a Division One figure whose first test would be against Hearts of Oak in February. Wa All Stars have named Jimmy Cobblah as their head coach as they seek to rekindle their hopes in the Ghana Premier League. Cobblah, who was previously with Division One side Danbort FC, is replacing Nurudeen Ahmed, who guided the Blues to 10th position at the end of the first round of the Ghana top flight. He has until February to put his team into shape since their first major test is against Hearts of Oak when the league resumes for the second round. He would be going into that game full of confidence since the first fixture ended 3-0 in their favour. The team scored 15 goals in 15 league games.
