The Trades Union Congress, TUC, has kicked against the proposed placement of a moratorium on increases in public sector salaries next year. Speaking to Radio Ghana, Secretary General, Kofi Asamoah said the move will overburden public sector workers. He said organised labour acknowledges the huge wage bill of the sector, on the public purse, but government should look at ways of increasing efficiency, rather than contemplating such an idea.
