Fourteen persons have been confirmed dead in an accident which occurred at Antado near Komenda in the Central region Monday morning.
The accident occurred around 11 am.
It involved three vehicles, an articulated truck, a Sprinter mini bus and a Toyota pick-up.
The driver of the articulated truck was said to have lost control over the vehicle after it burst one of its tyres and run into the Sprinter Bus, which was traveling from Mankesim towards Takoradi.
Two occupants of the Toyota Pick-up escaped death.
The casualties were mainly from the mini bus.
