What MPs Should Focus On...

Apostle John Owusu -Achaw, General Overseer of the True Faith Church of Ghana, has urged Members of Parliament (MPs) to ensure that critical issues affecting the daily lives of the people received utmost attention. They should focus on helping to tackle the growing poverty, problems with child education, health and housing. These are matters of immense concern to the electorate and these are what should engage them - finding workable solutions to improve the living standards. Speaking at the 51st annual convention of the Church at Takyimantia in the Tano South District, Apostle Owusu-Achaw the partisanship that tended to characterize debates on the floor of the House needed to give way to a more bi-partisan approach to the nations development. Life without Christ is full of crisis was the theme for the event. Apostle Owusu-Achaw said Ghana was at the crossroads and that all would have to overcome their differences and pool together to make things happen. Political leaders must accept to cooperate and fashion out strategies to lift the greater majority of the population from poverty. He also counselled the security agencies to be honest, faithful and loyal to the state and invited all to join the fight to bring down corruption, bribery and other social evils. Apostle Owusu-Achaw reminded the youth to be disciplined and to show respect to those in authority and the elderly.
