PHOTOS: Solomon Asante Buries Late Mum In Sefwi Wiaso

Ghana midfielder Solomon Asante buried his late mother on Saturday in his hometown Sefwi Wiaso in the Western Region. Madam Monica Dankwaa, 60, passed away in Kumasi last month after a long battle with illness. Asante was joined by his four countrymen at TP Mazembe, former teammates and well-wishers. �I am grateful to Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi and all those who made it possible for me to be this far,� Asante said. �My mother was a care taker and someone who cared for me but God knows best. We are moving on.� Asante played at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa where Ghana finished fourth. He also played a bit-part role in Ghana�s qualification to the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.
