Parliament is to host the sixth Biennial Conference of the Africa Regional Commonwealth Parliamentary Hansard Editors Association. Radio Ghana�s Parliamentary correspondent Dominic Hlordzi reports that the Conference which starts from the 12th to the 18th of this month will entail extensive discussions and lectures on the methods used by Hansard Departments within various Parliaments in the light of evolution of governance systems and the ever-changing technological applications in data storage. At a Pre-Conference media briefing in Accra the Hansard Editor in Ghana�s Parliament Alhaji Dahamani Issaka said the programme will also afford personnel of the Hansard Departments the opportunity to share experiences of best practices with their counterparts in the sub-region for the development of accurate Hansard. The Conference under the theme: e-Volving Parliaments: Hansard-Meeting the Challenges� will be opened by the Rt. Honorable Speaker of Ghana�s Parliament Edward Doe Adjaho on Monday at GIMPA.
