Clubs Await MTN FA Cup Third-Round Fate

The draw for the MTN FA Cup Round of 32 takes place in Accra on Tuesday morning where every side will learn who their next opponents will be. Teams from the same league tier can face each other in one-off matches. Reigning champions, Medeama are still involved in the Cup competition which has already claimed a tall list of premiership casualties. Hearts of Oak, Wa All Stars, Ebusua Dwarfs, Heart of Lions and Amidaus Professionals were all eliminated by teams from the lower divisions. The fixtures for the third round will be played from Thursday, February 6, to Monday, February 10, 2014. Qualified teams The qualified teams are: Medeama, First Klass FC, Okwawu United, King Faisal Babies, Berekum Chelsea, Gold Stars, Hasaacas, Ashantigold, Danbort FC, Dolphines FC, Bechem United, Pure Joy, Istanbul and Tarkwa United. Others are: New Edubiase, Asante Kotoko, Bolga All Stars, Inter Allies, Mighty Jets, Liberty Professionals, Metro SC, Future Stars, Nania FC, Sampa United, Tema United, Red Lions, Feyenoord Academy and Kotoku Royals, UCC Youngsters FC. The rest are: Rospack/Right To Dream/Ho Dynamos, Dawhenya/Royal Faith/Bazooka and Aduana/Asokwa Deportivo/Dunkwa United.
