Two pupils of Opoku Ware Basic School in Santasi in the Ashanti Regional have met their untimely death Wednesday morning. The two were on their way to school when an urvan bus run over them leading to their instant death. Narrating the incident, Peace FM correspondent in the Ashanti Region, Sampson Kwame Nyamekye said the cars on both sides of the road had stopped for the pupils to cross when an urvan bus decided to overtake, knocking down six of the pupils and killing two instantly. The other four has been admitted at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital with one in critical condition. According to Sampson, all the pupils are below the ages of 12. To avoid the wrath of residents, the driver decided to abscond but was immediately arrested by the police.
