President Mahama Begins Visit To Northern Region

President John Dramani Mahama will begin a two-day visit to the Northern Region on Thursday during which he will inaugurate projects and cut the sod for others to start. A statement from the Communications Directorate of the Flagstaff House said President Mahama would inaugurate the first phase of the Tamale Teaching Hospital expansion project and cut the sod for work to start on second phase. At Tamale, President Mahama would also inaugurate the new Regional Offices of the National Communications Authority and the National Health Insurance Authority. The President is expected to visit the Mamprusi East and Bunkrugu districts to inspect on-going development projects, inaugurate completed ones and cut the sod for commencement of new ones.
