Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has given a timely vote of confidence to manager David Moyes and has backed the Scot to lead the Barclays Premier League champions back up the table.
Van Persie has not played since injuring his thigh at the start of December and is not yet back on the training field during a season that sees United lying seventh in the Premier League table ahead of Sunday�s visit to Chelsea.
But the 30-year-old Dutch international has spoken out in support of Moyes after United lost three of their last four games in all competitions.
