Government Committed To Making Ghana Best In Healthcare

President John Mahama says his government is still committed to the vision of making Ghana the best in Healthcare in the sub-region. He was inaugurating the first phase of a � 39.3 million and expanded facility of Tamale Teaching Hospital in the Northern region. The President also cut the sod for the second phase to take off. The two projects are being funded jointly by the Netherlands government and the government of Ghana. The first phase includes an Accident and Emergency Ward, Intensive Care Unit, 400 bed capacity ward, CT Scan and X- ray Departments and is a first step towards making the Teaching Hospital a centre of excellence and research. The ceremony was attended by some Ministers of State, Traditional rulers and residents of the town.
