Dotse Malor Will Fail Titus Glover Predicts

New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Tema East constituency, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus- Glover, says Ben Dotse Malor, the new Head of Communications at the presidency is bound to fail. According to him, the propaganda vipers in the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) will not give him the leeway to operate as a professional communicator. Titus Glover was commenting on the impact Dotse Malors appointment will have on government and the NDCs interaction with Ghanaians. His concern is shared by many who believe the recent appointment will be a duplication of functions. Critics including immediate past Acting Director of the School of Communications, Professor Audrey Gadzekpo contends that Malors addition is needless. In a riposte, Information Minister explained that the Communications adviser will streamline and improve the quality of government communications. He noted that Dotse Malor will complement existing structures and bring on board his wealth of experience to improve communications at all sectors of government. But Titus Glover on Oman FMs National Agenda Thursday stated unequivocally that Dotse Malor will have a very difficult time working at the presidency. He intimated that apart from the internal opposition he will face in the course of his [Malor] duties, convincing Ghanaians to believe in the Mahama-led administration will be a herculean task. The NPP MP, to buttress his point, cited how Ministers of State are blinded with propaganda so much so that they tell lies even when the truth stares them right in the face. He stated that the egocentric and power play at the presidency will be a major contributing factor to impede Dotse Malors work. Titus Glover said if he [Malor] wants to stick to his principles as a professional and say things as it is, things will be very difficult for him.
