Party Leaders Took Sides In NPP Internal Rift Former Regional Chair

Outgoing Western Regional Chairman of the National Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Owusu Ankomah has called on party faithfuls to rally behind the new Executives elected by the delegates on Saturday, January 25. According to him, it is prudent for the party members to iron out their differences and focus on clinching victory, come 2016. Speaking on Oman FM's "National Agenda", Nana Owusu Ankomah noted that the party leaders, instead of thrashing out the problems in the NPP, have taken sides expressing support for some members. This, he stated, may bring separations in the partys front and so, advised that the party strategizes for the 2016 general elections in unity. Theres no disappointment. The thing which is very important is to see us come back to power in 2016. The most important thing is to know why we lost in some Regions and for the party members to rally behind the current executives and note that the Executives are just facilitators of the process of power. Power does not reside in them only. People dont look at efficiency. People dont look at deliveryAnd some leaders in the party who are tasked to iron out the differences also took sides, he said.
