Methodist Church Should Abandon Its Style And Introduce The Charismatic Way Of Worship

The Kumasi Methodist Bishop of the Methodist Church of Ghana, Rev. Prof. Sarfo Kantanka, has described the Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency programme by government as a mess as it has not done anything meaningful to alleviate the compounding problems affecting the country's economy. According to him, the country has not laid down policies which will help in the development of the country. The leaders of this country should not depend so much on the oil, Gold and other natural resources of this country. As a nation we should have policies that will help the youth of this country to develop their own initiatives and create employment for themselves after school. As a Professor, what l realize is that the universities in the country are producing graduates who are unable to create their own employment after but rather are depending hugely on government work where it is already choked. If we do not enact policies that will help the youth and the country's current educational structure then the future of this country is bleak Rev. Prof. Sarfo Kantanka disclosed this to UTV News in an interview when he inaugurated the Buokrom Estate Circuit of the Methodist Church of Ghana. Speaking on the Church's development, he said that it is about time the Methodist church abandon some of its orthodox style of worship and introduce the charismatic style of worship which he believes will help in the development of the Methodist church. He also urged the Church to be Strong and help the smaller churches in the circuit to be strong to help in the development of the church.
