Former Dwarfs Coach Rashid Iddy Launches Attack On Dwarfs

Former Coach of Ebusua Dwarfs, Rashid Iddy, who is set to take charge of the national womens team the Black Queens, is reported to have said Dwarfs players lack motivation and that has resulted in their poor delivery in the ongoing Ghana Premier League. Dwarfs are relegation-threatened and Rashid believes the frequent change of technical head and back room staff of the club is a major cause. Every coach comes with a new philosophy and that affects the playing body since they cannot adapt to the system easily. Our former coach Professor Mintah who now is with the national team changed the club with a new philosophy and I play differently as well, and the way management continues to change the coaching staff will affect the playing body always, he told Ghana Sports. The outgoing Dwarfs coach is, however, hopeful things can turn around in favour of the midgets of Ghana football if management stick to one technical bench. "That will be ideal for Dwarfs," he said.
