Veep: Things Will Be Easier This Year

Vice President Kwasi Amissah-Arthur says the government is confident of a better economic outlook for the country in the areas of trade and export this year. He says the difficult economic decisions which were taken by the government last year, have paved the way for more fruitful and economically positive years ahead. The vice President made the remarks when he addressed Ghanaians living in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia on the sidelines of the twentieth second African Union summit. We have taken hard decisions in 2013, it should allow us in 2014 and the future to have an easier time, but it doesnt mean that we take our eyes off the ball, he said. He admitted that 2013 was a difficult year for the Mahama administration. Mr Amissah-Arthur, however, noted that every new government encounters such difficulty after which stability follows.
