Fatau Dauda: Im Under Pressure At Orlando Pirates

The former Ashantigold shot-stopper admits he is under pressure to play regular with the Sea Robbers as the clock ticks towards the World Cup. Ghana international goalkeeper Fatau Dauda wants to redouble his efforts to get into the starting line-up at Orlando Pirates. Dauda was given a run when the Buccaneers defeated top Mozambican side Costa do Sol 2-0 in a warm-up match in Johannesburg Wednesday. Its a fact that Im under pressure to play regular to be included in the Black Stars team to the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil, said Dauda to the local press. Competition is healthy, it keeps the three of us (Mhlongo, Dauda and first-choice goalie Senzo Meyiwa) on our toes. I will keep on working hard to impress the coach. The current Ghana No. 1 faces a tough challenge from Adam Kwarasey, Daniel Agyei, Stephen Adams and Richard Kingson for the Stars first goalkeeper spot.
