The Ashanti Regional Police Command has granted bail, to 6 suspects who were arrested following disturbances in Kenyase in Ashanti. According to the Deputy PRO of the Command, Godwin Ahianyo, although some people were injured, no one died as is being reported. He said the police are still on the ground to ensure calm in the area. Monday morning, a number of residents were injured when they went on a demonstration to protest against bad roads in the town.
