Newborn Baby Snatched from Parents' Bedroom Found Alive

Wisconsin investigators are celebrating a happy ending after a baby reported missing after being snatched from a crib Thursday morning was found alive, left inside a tote bag near an Iowa gas station. The 6-day-old infant, Kayden Powell, was found at about 10:15 a.m. Friday near a gas station on I-80 in West Branch, Iowa. The newborn had been swaddled in blankets inside a tote bag that was left outside in freezing temperatures, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports, noting an investigation into the abduction is continuing.
