New Board Of VRA Tasked To Address Energy Short Fall

The Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Emmanuel Armah Kofi- Buah, has tasked the Board of Directors of the Volta River Authority, VRA, to work around the clock to find a lasting solution to power generation in the country. He also tasked the board to research and explore and bring on board other forms of energy generation so that industries can have sufficient power to work with. The Minister made this appeal when he swore in members of the Board of Directors of VRA and Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation, BOST into office in Accra. He also urged them to work within their mandate to make Ghana a net exporter of energy.
