Thanks For Not Punishing Tsatsu Tsikata And Myself...

Former Executive Director of the Danquah Institute, Gabby Asare Otchere Darko has commended the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) and the Disciplinary Committee of the General Legal Council for their decision not to punish him and Tsatsu Tsikata. This was necessitated by calls on the two bodies to rescind their decision to punish the two lawyers for violating the Associations code of ethics during the 2012 presidential election petition hearing. As lead counsel for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during the presidential election petition hearing, Lawyer Tsikata accused one of the nine justices of the Supreme Court, Justice Anim Yeboah of allowing his political bias to cloud his judgment. On the other hand, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko described the verdict of the Supreme Court as dishonest.
