Kotoko Writes To GFA Declaring Yahaya Mohammed Missing

Asante Kotoko have written to the Ghana Football Association declaring their 25-year-old AWOL striker Yahaya Mohammed as missing, Ghanasportsonline.com can confirm. The burley striker is reported to have absonconded to Libya to sign a deal with Tripoli-based Al-Ittihad whiles still under contract with the Ghana premier league champions. The management of the Red's have however written formally to the country's football governing body seeking assistance in finding the whereabouts of the controversial striker. Acting General manager Opoku Nti told Angel FM "We have written to the GFA to assist us find the whereabouts of our player Yahaya Mohammed because we cannot find him and that is the best medium we can officially use to find him". "He left the team's camp without any permission and we have called his mobile phone several times but he is not picking it up". "Even at the moment, his line is not going through and we need to be very serious with wherever he is and whatever is happening to him so that is the reason why we have writtent to the FA to assist us get him back". He added Yahaya Mohammed was recently part of Ghana�s silver-winning squad at the 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN) and was named as part of the tournament�s top 23 players.
