The governing National Democratic Congress has rebuffed claims by the opposition New Patriotic Party that it stole a key policy they campaigned on in 2012 electioneering season. The NDC which launched a fierce campaign against NPP's educational policy dubbed Free SHS, is now set to implement it next year.
