Nana Addo Under Pressure To Contest In 2016

Pressure is mounting on the 2012 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo to make a third attempt to represent the party as its flagbearer in the 2016 election. Some supporters who spoke to Citi News after welcoming Nana Addo at his Nima residence were certain that he has what it takes to wrestle power from the governing National democratic Congress (NDC) in 2016. A Nana Addo supporter told Citi News, I dont think with this economy, when I come back from school, I get a job instantly so I want Nana Addo back by 2016 so that he will implement good policies that will help me. Another also stated that if Nana Addo does not does not contest, we will not vote because he has marketed himself to the extent that we dont think we can go in with anybody to bring us success so I am of the view that Nana Addo should contest. Nana Akufo-Addo arrived in Ghana on Wednesday night from the United Kingdom. His supporters are earnestly waiting for him to reveal whether or not he will contest the flagbership position of the party.
