Officials of the Ghana TV consortium- GTV, GTV Sports Plus, Metro TV, ETV and First Digital TV have warned of legal action against individuals and organisations planning to ride on the back of the upcoming FIFA World Cup tournament in Brazil to make profits without proper authorization. Already some television and radio stations not belonging to the consortium have started running promo's on the world cup- in contravention of the rights -owned by the consortium.
