Attorney General To Face Judgment Debt Commission

The Judgment Debt Commission has summoned four institutions to appear before it from Monday, March 24 to March 26, 2014. A statement from the Judgment Debt Commission and copied to the Ghana News Agency said: �representatives of the underlisted organizations have been invited to appear before the Commission to assist the Commission in its work.� The organisations include the Attorney General�s Department, Nana Sankrankye Attah, Solicitor General, to appear on Monday March 24, 2014, while Attorney General�s Department, Ghana Police Service, Ghana Post and Ministry of Foreign Affairs would take their turn on Tuesday March 25, 2014. Mr Andrew A.Tefutor, Bank of Ghana, Ho Municipal Assembly and Lands Commission would appear on Wednesday March 26, 2014. The statement said �The invitees are also informed that they are at liberty to appear with their lawyers.� The statement urged members of the public who wish to testify or volunteer information to report at the Commission�s office to give their statements. �Those who intend to testify or volunteer information to the Commission but are unable to be present in person are requested to submit memoranda to the Commission,� it added. The Commission reminded the public that sittings would be held at 10.00 a.m. each day.
