Tema Motorway Repair Works Completed

A bridge on the Accra-Tema Motorway was closed a few days ago due to a huge pothole on one of the lanes. Repair works was immediately commenced by the Ghana Highway Authority (GHA) causing heavy vehicular traffic on the Motorway. Speaking in an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Tuesday, DCP Kwame Gyasi Afari, Ashaiman Divisional MTTU commander indicated that works has been completed and there is now free flow of traffic. �We are monitoring vibrations on the bridge and then the engineers will analyse if there is still any problem� he said. Repair works were expected to be completed in five weeks� time; meaning the engineers has completed ahead of schedule. Meanwhile, Peace FM reporter, Naana Ntiri has confirmed after visiting the Motorway that there is now free flow of traffic.
