NPP Scared Foreign Investors Away With Unprecedented Acts Of Corruption

The current economic crisis that seems to have gotten this nation in a choke hold must be terrifying for everyone. Ghanas economic meltdown has left many citizens scared beyond words. Perhaps for many, stress and anxiety have become their companions. Whereas the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is blaming the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mahama led administration for Ghanas economic woes, Bernard Allotey Jacobs sees it otherwise. According to the Central Regional Communications Director of the NDC, the Mahama led administration is now suffering to revive the economy due to NPPs corrupt governance before leaving power. He noted that, foreign investors who were attracted to the country left because the then Kufour-led administration welcomed them with massive corruption. Allotey Jacobs however described the NPP as Horrors in fraud and blame Ghanas economic downfall on the opposition party. When you talk of corruption, NPP is like horror. NPP scared the people in this countryNPP scared investors with corruption and today look at them; they are calling us (NDC) corrupt government. When you talk about corruption, its from the NPP. Judgement debt is the making of the NPP, he said. Speaking on NEAT FMs Me Man Nti programme Allotey Jacobs opined that the countrys energy crisis now is as a result of the NPP incompetence. They (NPP) talk about energy crisis, they are the worse culprits. During their era not even 1 megawatt of electricity was added to what we already haveand now they are complaining. Hypocrites! he stated.
