Managing Editor of the Al Hajj newspaper, Alhaji Iddrisu Bature has called on the Mahama-led administration to study the economic advice from the 2012 Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. According to him, irrespective of Dr. Bawumia�s political affiliation, it will be of a great interest if the incumbent government takes some counsel to solve the recent economic woes the country is facing. Alhaji Bature was discussing a lecture delivered by the former Deputy Governor of Ghana�s Central Bank (Bank of Ghana), Dr. Bawumia on the recent fall of Ghana�s currency at the Central University College (CUC), Miotso Campus as a visiting Professor. Dr. Bawumia in his allocution highlighted on the challenges that has led to Ghana�s economy miseries with solution which can be implemented to revamp the failing economy. However, speaking on Adom FM, Alhaji Bature noted that �It is very important for the government to take time and study Dr. Bawumia�s statements. They should not ignore his advises because he is an opposition man. It is true that Ghana is facing some challenges in the management of the economy�.
