The highly-publicized much-anticipated bout between two renowned Ghanaian boxers Ayitey Powers and Braimah Kamoko, alias Bukom Banku on April 18 may not come off as arranged as Ayitey Powers seem to have already bowed out of the game unless it is rescheduled. Ayitey Powers has pleaded with the Ghana Boxing Authority to reschedule the bout citing divine or religious reasons. Acting on the directives of his Godfather, Founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) TB Joshua, the Australian-based Ghanaian boxer says he is not ready to fight his competitor on the scheduled date, April 18 this year. He explained that after his deliverance at the Synagogue Church, Prophet TB Joshua advised him to postpone the bout or else something calamitous might happen. And so, as a staunch ambassador of Prophet TB Joshua, Ayitey Powers, though undaunted and still bent on defeating Bukom Banku, has craved the indulgence of the boxing authorities to cooperate with him as he seeks to honour the word of God concerning his life. �They should give me one more month�That�s it�.I don�t know why people don�t understand me and are rather saying, �me, I�m afraid�. I�m not afraid of this guy. I want to beat this guy. And I don�t want to fight this guy because of money�They should change the date for me... �As for me, I want to fight but God says I should hold on. If I fight, I will win.� Speaking to Dan Kweku Yeboah of Peace Power Sports moments after meeting with sponsors of the boxing bout, Ayitey Powers sworn not to go contrary to the directives of God through his servant Prophet TB Joshua because to him; the man of God has played an instrumental role in his life. �From that time, 2007 -2008 up to 2012, what I passed through. If today, I don�t die and I�m not in prison and I�m not mad, I have to thank God of Prophet TB Joshua,� Powers said. In a related development, Bukom Banku insists the decision by Ayitey Powers to go for a spiritual cleansing exercise at SCOAN is a "big mistake" and has vowed to "beat the demon away" from him (Ayitey Powers).
