A DAF truck, with registration number AS 6648-09, over-loaded with charcoal broke down along the Anloga Junction to KNUST (Tech) Junction, causing heavy traffic on the road last Friday.
The truck was supported with beams to hold it from falling on its side, posing danger to pedestrians, especially schoolchildren who use that portion of the road.
Authorities responsible should check unacceptable loading of trucks to avoid preventable accidents on our roads.
