Bury The Hatchet And Forge Ahead In Unity Agyarko Tells NPP

NPP Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Hon. Emmanuel Kyeremanten Agyarko has asked his party members to put behind them all the controversies that emerged before the Delegates Conference held in Tamale. According to him, the only way the NPP can regain power from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) is when they are united. We must forge ahead in unity for 2016 whether our favourite candidate won or not. In 2016, no matter what, we will come to power and so we must let go of all the acrimoniesunity is very important, Hon Agyarko said. He added in a panel discussion on Kokrokoo, that one of the major assignments for the newly elected executives will be to ensure victory for the party in 2016. He further stated that, in his estimation, most of the contestants who won the election during the Delegates conference in Tamale were only those who did not engage in insults and propaganda during their campaign. It was only those who raised real and factual issues who won the election. Those who were engaging in insults and propaganda didnt win. The delegates listened to the real issues and not the numerous allegations, and that must be notedbut everything is in the past now, he stressed.
