Defeated General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie has said that despite his �shocking� defeat at the just ended NPP delegates� conference held in Tamale, he is not out of the elephant fraternity as alleged. According to him, just as his favourite two-time presidential candidate of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo took a break from politics after the election petition hearing, he will also take a break from active politics to seek God�s direction. �I am done with my work�and I am moving on in life. I am going to pray in my hometown and if there is a need for me to come back I will. Sir John is down but not out. What God will direct me to do, I will go by that,� he said. Speaking on Adom FM, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie popularly called �Sir John� however urged his successor, Kwabena Agyapong to work hard towards winning election 2016. He advised that, �If the raid and sasso [both insecticides for killing insect] could not kill the mosquito [Asiedu Nketia], then he [Kwabena Agyapong] should not try to use mosquito coil�. Nonetheless, he assured to support the incumbent executives when needed.
