Just a few weeks to the much-anticipated FIFA World Cup in Brazil, it was expected that the talk would focus on how prepared the national team, Black Stars are, as they face fierce competition in a group regarded as the group of death; instead, the debate has hinged on whether it is appropriate for the players to take their wives to their camp. Well, some of the players are married and if the green light is given; their wives will be in Brazil. Others are divorced and if they make the cut, we wonder who they will present in camp as their companions. For other players, they are unmarried and have not publicly declared who their girlfriends are, so it will be tricky on who they take to camp as their girlfriends. Razz Newspaper has compiled the list of footballers wives, not girlfriends, legally-wedded wives who may take part in the Mundial come June-July 2014; Abena & Kwadjo Asamoah The utility player for the Black Stars is married to Abena Asamoah and the couple has a cute baby boy, Jason. If approval is granted, Abena will surely be in Brazil, cheering his husband on and off the pitch. Omega & Samuel Inkoom Samuel Inkooms wife loves the cameras as she doesnt miss the chance to splatter her photos on instagram and she wont miss the opportunity to go to Brazil if authorization is given. Omega and Samuel Inkoom have three adorable kids, Samuelina, Samuel Jnr and newly born Shawne. Menaye & Sulley Muntari The former beauty queen will represent large with her swaggalicious self if GFA gives the nod. She will surely leave her commendable philanthropic work and join her husband, Sulley, at the Black Stars base in Brazil in June. Roberta & Harrison Afful The Esperance player might have got some foresight that wives may be allowed into the camp so, he married his wife Roberta quite recently. Roberta will also not miss the opportunity to see Afful before and after each crucial game in Brazil. Aisha & Derek Boateng Its been a tough season for Derek Boateng; the man has barely kicked a ball since being signed by Fulham and that may hamper his chances of getting a call-up for Brazil. But hey, anything can happen players get injured and others get the opportunity so you never know. Derek could get in and Aisha will represent.
