10 Women To Be Honoured For Excellence

The Endless Possibilities and Hope Development Organisation in Canada is to hold the Women�s Courage Awards International, Ghana,in Accra on May 9, as part of the launch and maiden edition of the event in Ghana. The award is a prestigious programme that seeks to honour and encourage young ladies and women who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavour. It also seeks to acknowledge women�s successes and empower them, and also motivate adolescent girls to work hard to obtain similar honours. As part of the programme, 10 outstanding girls and women from various sectors such as education, business, technology, health and wellness, would be honoured at the Kama Conference Centre, Labone. They include the keynote speaker for the event, Dr Joyce Aryee, the Executive Director of Salt and Light Ministries, Jeremy Van-Gershon, a young journalist with Live FM, Mrs Angela Dwamena Aboagye, Executive Director of the Ark Foundation, and Miss Doris Bramson, the Headmistress of St Mary�s Secondary School. The award, which was instituted by Anna Owusu Prempeh Aidoo, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), is the first of its kind to be held in Ghana. Since its inception in 2006, the efforts of more than 100 women in Canada from the fields of Medicine, law enforcement, social justice, youth empowerment, humanitarianism, education, legacy, aviation, and community development, among other endeavours, have been acknowledged and honoured by this award. Having recognised the hard work and positive contributions of women in Ghana to the development of humanity as a whole, Endless Possibilities and Hope Development Organisation is bringing home this prestigious award to encourage and applaud Ghanaian women for their untiring efforts.
