Ghana's National security Coordinator, Lt. Col. Larry Gbevlo Lartey (Retired) has been sacked.
The president has replaced Mr. Gbevlo Lartey with former Director of the Bureau of National Investigations, Mr. Yaw Donkor.
Mr. Donkor according to sources will be acting in his new post.
Mr. Pious Awelinga has also being appointed as acting director of the Bureau of National Investigations.
There are indications these appointments are the beginning of expected reshuffle of of government appointees by President Mahama.
