Gilbey�s Gin, a product of Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL), has supported the fourth Ghana Entrepreneur Awards as the official beverage sponsor of the event. The Ghana Entrepreneur Awards is an initiative of Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana which has been endorsed by the Ministries of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning. The awards is to honour, inspire and recognise the exceptional contribution and achievements of Ghanaian and non-Ghanaian Entrepreneurs in Small, Medium and Large Enterprises who have excelled at developing successful businesses and contributing to the growth of the country�s economy. Speaking at the ceremony which was held at the Banquet Hall, the Head of Innovations of GGBL, Mr Solange Kuimo, said Gilbey�s Gin was proud to be associated with the Ghana Entrepreneur Awards simply because the brand stood for celebrating entrepreneurial spirit and encouraging people to pursue their ambitions. �We have invested GH�10,000 as the official beverage sponsor to support this event and we are even more excited to award the best young entrepreneur 2013 and the most promising entrepreneur 2013,� he said. Convenor of the award, Mr Sam Ato Gaisie, expressed gratitude to GGBL, saying entrepreneurs were the bedrock of the economy. �They play a key role in the growth and development of our economy and we deem it fit to recognise their effort,� he said.
