Shopping Mall For K�si

Plans are underway for the construction of an ultra-modern shopping mall complex at Apiedu Apromasi in the Ashanti region. The shopping mall, a brainchild of Budget Cash and Carry, distributors of Blue Jeans Energy Drink, would be situated on a 40-acre land. Nana Egyir Aggrey, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Budget Cash and Carry, made the announcement during an interview with DAILY GUIDE at the Manhyia Palace. The disclosure was made when Nana Aggrey, who is also the Manwerehene of Akuapim, visited the palace on Tuesday, May 6 to wish Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene a happy 64th birthday. He announced that Budget Cash and Carry would also construct a new factory alongside the shopping mall at Apiedu Apromasi. Nana Aggrey said the Asantehene would cut the sod for the construction of the shopping mall and the factory to begin. He said a staggering amount of 10 million Euros is needed to complete the project, adding that his outfit and its bankers, Fidelity Bank were footing the bill. Nana Aggrey indicated that the project would be completed within a year. He was optimistic the project would help boost the country�s economy and also provide jobs for the people. The Akuapim Manwerehene said Ghanaians in general were grateful to God for adding another year to Otumfuo�s life. According to Nana Aggrey, Otumfuo had contributed immensely to the development of Ghana, saying �we thank God for Otumfuo�s life.�
