Pastors and Leaders of Prayer Camps have been warned not to give falsehood prophesies that could break biological relations among parents and children.
Odiifo Dadibo Acquah, National Chairman of the Twelve Apostles Church, gave the warning at a church service to mark Mothers Day celebration at Agona Mensakrom in the Central Region.
He warned that giving falsehood prophesies is against the teachings of the Holy Bible, the foundation of Christianity, and called on the Christian Council of Ghana and other religious bodies, to help find a lasting solution to the canker.
Odiifo Acquah who is also the founder of Haris Twelve Apostles Church at Mensakrom, said �it was not proper to hear a pastor prophesying to a member of the church that his or her mother was responsible for his or her inability to prosper.�
He said pastors and leaders of prayer camps must preach the word of God that can give salvation to the members, and not material things, as it is happening in the society currently.
Apostle Gyasi Acheampong, pastor in charge of the Agona Swedru branch of Damascus Church International, warned mothers to desist from drunkenness, gossiping and laziness that could affect the training of their children.
Nana Obeng Enyan, Executive Director of the Mother Care Orphanage at Agona Swedru, urged children who have suffered pains in the hands of their mothers to forget and forgive them.
Madam Alberta Bruce, Gomoa West Girl-Child Officer of the GES, appealed to children to take care of their mothers for playing unique roles in their upbringing.
She urged mothers, especially, single ones, not to rain insults and curses on their children in times of difficulties.
