Former Ghana FA Boss Nyaho Tamakloe Salutes Kwesi Appiah

The former Ghana FA boss has praised Kwesi Appiah for naming a good provisional squad for the 2014 World Cup. A former Ghana FA president Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe has said Kwesi Appiahs 26-man provisional World Cup squad is devoid of any flaws. The former Ghana captain named his provisional squad on Monday as the Black Stars prepare to make their third-straight appearance at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. For the first time in recent times, Appiahs World Cup squad is the one that has attracted just only few controversies, and Dr. Tamakloe takes delight in that. It is a very impressive group that he has come out with, and I am so happy about that," Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe told Accra-based Asempa FM. "If you look at certain areas including the youthfulness of the squad, experience, and commitment, you can see Kwesi Appiah has looked at the need for very young people to beef up the squad, the need for experience, and the need for people who can die a little for the country." He added: I think it is a good squad." The Black Stars will play two friendly matches against The Netherland and South Korea before enplaning to Brazil where they will take on USA, Germany and Portugal.
