Plot To Remove Nana Akufo Addo From NPPs Slot Exposed

On-going investigations by the Daily Dispatch have revealed a plot to remove Nana Akufo-Addo from the final list of five persons to be presented to the 145,000-delegate Electoral College to elect the New Patriotic Partys (NPP) 2016 flagbearer. The Daily Dispatch investigations were triggered by an article written by a leading member of the NPP, Brig-Gen. (rtd) J. Odei. Our investigations have reveled that only about 35% of the Special Electoral College are fixed like the Members of Parliament and past executive officers. The rest, which will be coming from some elected persons can be manipulated, so that those who will be chosen will be told DO NOT ELECT NANA AKUFO-ADDO THE FINAL FIVE. According to the retired General, the first phase of the game plan to remove Akufo-Addo, being touted by Alan supporters is firstly, to change the composition of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Party, so that decisions of the NEC will be favourable to that groups agenda. The second phase is to flush out nana Akufo-Addo from the presidential primary by chocking the Presidential race with so many candidates to compel the party to organise a Special Electoral College to reduce the number of candidates to five in line with Article 12 A(5) of the Partys Constitution. Gen. (rtd) Odei revealed another phase, it is further alleged the date for the Presidential primary will be pushed to 2015 instead of 2014 to enable Alan gain some lost political atmosphere with wild propaganda such as Olele abre. On how the group would remove Akufo-Addo from the Presidential race, he revealed that the answer was simple the composition of the delegates for the Special Electoral College is about one fifth of the delegates for the National Executive Elections and having succeeded in influencing some of the delegates with money, this will be minced meat.
