Mr. Solomon Addo, the Assembly Member for Sekyikrom Electoral Area, has appealed to the Ghana Highway Authority to build an overhead bridge at Sekyikrom on the main Dobro Apedwa new road to avoid cars knocking down pedestrians.
He told the GNA that 10 people lost their lives since December last year.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Samuel Ntoso, MTTU Commander of Nsawam District, confirmed this and said all the drivers involved in these accidents bolted.
He said the government would have to assist the people for and peace to prevail in the area.
