The Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II has entreated Christians to eschew over-reliance on miracles and back their prayers with hardwork. The Asante King was speaking at a ceremony held by the Oral Roberts Ministries in Kumasi to confer an Honorary Doctorate degree on him. The ceremony held at the Calvary Charismatic Centre was in recognition of his exemplary leadership as he celebrates 15 years on the golden stool. President of the Oral Roberts Ministries, Dr. Richard Roberts extolled the Christian virtues of the king. Otumfour expressed deep appreciation for the award as well as all who contributed to the success of his 15th anniversary celebrations. He encouraged Christians not to replace hardwork with prayers and urged them to eschew over-reliance on miracles
