Seven-time champion Rafael Nadal beat Andy Murray in a brilliant three-set thriller to reach the Italian Open semi-finals in Rome.
Murray looked on course for his best-ever result on clay at 4-2 up in the decider, but Nadal hit back to win 1-6 6-3 7-5 in two hours and 40 minutes.
