Peace FM, the nation�s premium radio station has once again emerged tops as the greatest brand in Ghana, 2014. The award was given at this year�s Brand Excellence Awards held at the plush Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra. Brand Excellence Awards, a yearly event which started in 2012 is organized by the Centre for Brands Analysis (TCBA) and seeks to identify exceptional brands and reward them for their excellence in branding. This year�s event was on the theme �Building a Strong Brand for Business Growth�. Other brands that were also awarded were: Ghana Commercial Bank, GHACEM, MTN, Frytol, Pepsodent, Golden Tulip, Omo and Voltic. The rest who made it to the Premier Brands category were Aviation Social Centre, Japan Motors, WESTAFCO, Medlab Ghana Limited, L�aine Services Limited, Bayport Financial Services, Mediacom and Efiewura. The others are Glico General, Dark & Lovely, Zoomlion, Afrodan, VEFA Africa, Around the Clock and the Ghana News Agency. Receiving the award, the General Manager of Peace FM, Mr. Kwesi Brenya showed appreciation to the organisers as well as the many listeners who have been patronizing the station.
