Prison Visitor Busted With Wee

A routine search on Emmanuel Mensah, a visitor visiting a friend at the Nsawam Medium Security Prison, unveiled a quantity of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp concealed in six fingers of ripped plantain at the prisons gate. According to the Eastern Regional Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Prisons Service, ASP Richard Bukari, the suspect painstakingly cut open the ripped plantain, scooped out the content, and stuffed them with the dried leaves. He then cleverly scaled them with an adhesive to be given to his prison inmate friend. The suspect tried to bribe the prison officers when he was unmasked, and when the bribe attempt failed, he denied ownership of the items. But upon further interrogations, he confessed and said he was contracted by a lady from Ashaiman to deliver the parcel to the inmate. The suspect has since been handed over to the Nsawam Police for further investigations.
