Joshua Clottey Replies Banku

Joshua Clottey has described Cruiserweight boxer Bukom Banku recent demand for a fight between the two as uncalled for. The boxing braggart after brushing aside Ayittey Powers in their much-publicised bout has now turned his attention to the former IBF Welterweight champion, demanding to fight Clottey. But the Grand Master has told DAILY GUIDE SPORTS that he has been tight lipped for a simple reason that, there is no way the countrys boxing governing body, Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) would sanction such a fight. I have heard Banku on various media platforms demanding a fight with me. I decided not to reply him because it makes no sense for the two of us to fight because of the weight difference. The GBA will not sanction such a fight and my promoters will make mockery of it if they hear it. He cant make my weight which is the Light Middle weight, hence my silence all these while, not because I cant stand him. I am an international fighter and he is a local fighter, another reason the fight would not be sanctioned. Boxers like Charles Adamu, one of the Samir brothers, and some boxers want to fight him he should rather fight them not me, Clottey said.
